Touch Me Not: POLITICS OF THE BODY at BOZAR AGORA Bruxelles

After an impressive journey around the world, the International Debate Tour TOUCH ME NOT – POLITICS OF THE BODY finally arrives in Bruxelles, heart of the European Union, in EUROPALIA ROMANIA’s closing weekend hosted by BOZAR AGORA, on February 1st from 17h30, with the kind support of the Romanian Cultural Institute and of the Permanent Representation of Romania to the European Union.
A cultural-educational, human rights project initiated at the invitations of prestigious festivals, cultural institutions and universities from Europe and US, the Debate Tour TOUCH ME NOT – POLITICS OF THE BODY has been created by the team of controversial TOUCH ME NOT, Berlinale’s Golden Bear winner and nominated for the European Discovery Award at the EFA European Film Academy Awards, Romanian – German – French – Czech coproduction with the support of EURIMAGES and MEDIA Creative Europe.
Conceived as a series of interactive debates accompanied by screenings of the film, the tour offers audiences around the world the unique opportunity of an open dialogue with the film’s inspiring protagonists, passionate artists and <advocates> for human rights coming from all across Europe. An invitation to self-reflection, a space for conversation about urgent topics such as the way we relate to each other and our capacity for empathy, about the body as battleground for ideologies, about diversity and inclusionintimacy and disability, gender equality and personal boundaries, about freedom and the courage to be who we really are#AllEmotionsWelcome
